To provide for comprehensive health insurance coverage for all United States residents, improved health care delivery, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS.
(a) Short Title- This Act may be cited as the ‘Expanded & Improved Medicare For All Act’.

I fear for our wild horses that have been captured and are now in government holding facilities. Why has Secretary Salazar appointed yet another pro horse slaughter person to the BLM’s National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board?

Here's a fact: Medical and scientific evidence provides no rationale for age and access restrictions to emergency contraception.


But recently, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius overruled FDA scientists and blocked expanded access to emergency contraception for clearly political reasons.



When your regular method of contraception fails, you need direct access to emergency contraception -- not unnecessary obstacles. After 10 years of stalling and putting politics before science, it's time to bring emergency contraception out from behind the pharmacy counter.



When it comes to women's health, don't you want leadership that listens to science and doesn't cave in to political pressure? Tell Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to put politics aside and broaden access to emergency contraception -- for all women.

Alton Coal and the City of Los Angeles are threatening Bryce Canyon National Park. They've proposed building a 3,500 acre coal strip mine right next to the park to extract coal to power L.A. If built, the mine would turn southern Utah into an industrial zone -- jeopardizing the park, tourism, and the health of local residents.



Instead of destroying a national park to create dirty energy from coal, the sun-drenched city of Los Angeles should create its own solar energy. Ken Salazar, Secretary of the Department of Interior, will make a decision soon on whether to allow Alton Coal to build their coal strip mine.



Tell Secretary Salazar to stop this dirty, dangerous proposal and protect the Bryce Canyon region for future generations.
