The Rotary Foundation Grants Division Manager will be responsible for operation, promotion, implementation and evaluation of all Rotary Foundation grant types and programs including: District Grants, Global Grants, Packaged Grants, Disaster Relief and Recovery Funds as well as the Rotary Peace Centers Program. The Rotary Foundation Grants Division Manager is also responsible for maximizing operational efficiency while ensuring outstanding customer service to Rotarians, donors, program participants and corporate partners. The Rotary Foundation Grants Division Manager will oversee a team of managers responsible for supervising approximately a total of 40 to 60 employees.
The ideal candidate will possess a BA or BS with substantial international experience. He/She will have excellent interpersonal skills with proven effective interaction with senior leaders and decision makers; excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent analytical skills; understanding of humanitarian issues to include: disease prevention and treatment, maternal and child health, water and sanitation, basic education and literacy, peace and conflict prevention and resolution and economic and community development; familiarity with issues related to international banking and finance; the ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately; administrative and problem-solving skills; advanced performance management skills to include coaching, mentoring, evaluating and succession planning; familiarity with organizational development and change management; excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office and various databases). Proficiency with a second language preferred.
In addition he/she must have a minimum of five years of experience with the administration of an international private voluntary organization, including extensive work experience in grant administration for international social/economic development; a minimum of five years of management experience with the ability to build and motivate a team of professionals; a minimum of three years of experience conducting program evaluations and gathering data for key performance indicators and experience directly related to the administration of international humanitarian and educational programs is highly preferred.
