Help Stop PAS(parental alienation syndrome)

PAS is parental alienation syndrome. Over 2 years our blended family has been through a lot. There has been accusations against me and it has to stop. I'm tired of sitting back and letting the mother of my stepdaughter abuse her rights as a parent. I want to take a stand for my Blended Family.PAS has to stop! I'm not only taking a stand for my family but for everyone else that has to deal with this too. Children deserve BOTH parents!

Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS) is one such theory. This unsophisticated, pseudoscientific theory explains a child's estrangement from one parent or allegations of abuse at the hands of one parent by blaming the other. The theory, developed by the late Richard A. Gardner, M.D., portrays the preferred parent (usually the mother under PAS) as an evil "alienator" who is virtually solely responsible for turning a vulnerable child against their estranged parent (usually the father under PAS).

Don't Forget To Donate To The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign!!

Because I recently got a new baby tortoise, I panicked when I read on a forum I have just discovered that Tesco were (?) guilty of selling my baby tortoise's cousins, the terrapins and turtles, as live food in their Chinese stores. There was a letter writing Campaign about this a while ago. You may remember an old C2 petition I discovered via that forum's link??

Legal System for Single Moms, Children & Families

Single Moms & the Legal System On Wednesday, March 4, 2010 I stood up in the family court and took a definitive stand while I presented a statement to Judge Scott Bernstein of the Family Court Division at a specially set hearing. A stand for the approximately 69,000* single mothers in Miami-Dade County Florida. The most definite statements I presented to the judge were the following:

I will no longer stand for a legal system which allows attorneys to exploit the family courts at the expense of children and families; and

I state that ALL Family Law Attorneys should be required to practice Collaborative Family Law because the well being and benefit of Children and Families should always come FIRST!

Changing Arkansas Grandparents Rights Law

I am trying to get visitation rights to see my grandson which is being abused. I went to court to get visitation but the judge wouldn't hear my abuse case because the parents are married. Because of this Law my grandson will keep on being abused. I had people in the courtroom that would have proved my grandson was and is being abused. Since court DHS has been called and found that my grandkids didn't even have a bed to sleep in. This child has and is going through a life that no child should have to go through. Please sign my petition to Take out Arkansas Law, If the parents are married, grandparents don't have rights! I'm not saying grandparents have the right to tell the parents how to raised their kids. I am saying that grandparents should be able to protect their grandchildren. The judge did leave my case open just in case things change and this law is the only thing that is stopping me from helping my grandson. This law can be changed in 2011. PLEASE HELP.
