$1M EACH FOR OBAMA'S TOP 40 ORGANIZERS ORGANIZERS

Dear Mr. Obama and Democratic Leaders:

If you want popular support you need to ensure your best messaging team is beyond the beltway getting your message to the whole darn country. Please figure out a way to get your Top 40 Campaign Organizers each a million dollars to do whatever media project they think they should.

And btw: Right Wing Radio reigns more victorious than ever, standing over the carcass of its sole Liberal counterpart Air America, decimated by the culture it failed to create single-handedly.

Sending NO Message is it's Own Message: Millions of Voters Don't Matter
Every day of every week, Right Wing Talk Radio consistently wins hearts and minds of millions of good and frequently intelligent American people in large part because every invalid point and outright lie about Liberals,  government and any other topic stands uncontested.

Expecting a different result without the funding, dedication and utilization of valuable (human) resources to ensure a differentt result is a version of  political insanity.

Wolf Blitzer: apologize for 8 minute segment on DOJ "loyalty"

On March 4, Wolf Blitzer ran an 8-minute segment featuring Liz Cheney’s McCarthyite smear that DOJ lawyers were “disloyal” for representing accused terrorists. As Glenn Greenwald wrote:

“The story itself began when Blitzer posed this question: “Should there be a loyalty test over at the Justice Department?” He then introduced CNN Homeland Security Correspondent Jeanne Meserve, who — echoing Liz Cheney — introduced her segment by asking about the Obama DOJ: “Should it really be called the Department of Jihad”?

The White House: Don't go back to military commissions, #closegitmo

Dear Mr. President,

Please stand firm against the politics of fear and don’t go back to military commissions!

Federal courts have been MUCH more effective at trying terrorist suspects than the military commissions.

I would like you to know that I support closing the prison at Guantanamo Bay, ending indefinite detention, and using our federal courts to try suspected terrorists.

Thousands of Americans are behind you – take a look at some of the faces for closing Gitmo:

Stand up to the fearmongers and close the prison at Guantanamo Bay.

Senators: Where is Banking Reform?

What is the link between fat Wall Street bonuses and your dwindling retirement account? Our skewed financial system rewards people who gamble with borrowed money and make big paper profits, while sidelining those who stick by the old values of thrift, personal responsibility and fair play.

High-risk investments, misleading contracts, cheating, and the quick profit mentality are all seriously flawed banking strategies. They created the recession, and are not sustainable or fair.

For more than a year our leaders have promised to fix the financial system -- yet still nothing has changed. Your outrage can help us return common sense to irresponsible financial strategies. Please sign our petition today and ask your senators why a year has passed with no banking reform.

Tell Leader McConnell: My Democracy is Not for Sale!

The Supreme Court's decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission will allow corporate special interests to spend an unlimited amount of money to influence campaigns.

It will drown out the voices of the American people and roll back decades of progress to ensure elections are fair. Democrats have condemned the decision and proposed legislation to limit its impact.

Unfortunately, many Republicans applaud Citizens United vs. the FEC. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell calls it a "monumental" step toward "restoring the First Amendment [free speech] rights [of corporations and unions.]" Tell McConnell that unlimited spending is not free speech.

President Obama has rightfully referred to this decision as "an assault on democracy," and that he "could not think of anything more devastating to the public interest."

Sign the petition: Tell Senator McConnell and the Republican leadership: My democracy is not for sale.

Sarah Palin: Get a grasp of social media before you run for office again.

Mrs. Palin,

Please tell me you are running for office in 2012. Any office – the President, the Vice-President, Senator, the principal, the hit NBC show, any of them. Because if you do I want you to make “Twittering” a part of your campaign slogan. Please get creative with your usage. It is a verb that deserves due credit and all of the glamour that your grasp of language can provide. My favorite suggestion so far is "Twittering away to nothing since 2008. " Less than 140 characters too!
